I don't see the fact that the company is publicly endorsing jailbreaking & unlocking as an indication that a deal with Apple is coming soon, but whatever...
So true, how to get Apple to want to work on your network.
Step 1 Hack the Phone..
Step 2... there is no step 2

I think we should be fearful of our out of control spending. Both sides refuse to see the other side's point. Until we have a meltdown, nothing will happen. We have a spending AND revenue problem.

OK, I'll try to make it simpler, so you can understand.

If you have a folder and you create an alias, anything you drag to the alias will actually be placed in the folder, as illustrated by the arrows labeled "2" in the screen capture above. You will not have one copy of a pic in the folder and another copy in the alias. An alias cannot contain pics or any files. It simply points to an existing file or folder.
As you can see by the arrow labeled "1" in the screen capture above, you can drag pictures directly from Photo Booth into any folder you choose. You can also drag a picture to the Mail icon on your Dock to attach that picture to an email. You can also click on a picture in Photo Booth and press the "delete" key to delete the picture, so nothing is saved in the Photo Booth folder.
Actually, it's not. Address Book and iCal don't give you the option to change the location of their associated files, and they're not the only ones. It's not uncommon for an app to not provide a method for changing default locations of associated files.
If I drag the picture from the actual Photo Booth application after I take it onto my desktop does it still put a copy of that photo in the Photo Booth folder?

I would bet hard money on it, I can't stand Bose.
My brother has Bose and for me I would say the jay's or klipsh on and on not a Bose fan. With emi's or any speakers it's all a matter of opinion any way. Some like heavy bass some don't. Also different people hear different tones. Etc etc.

Hi.
I'm hoping to get advice on which Adobe CS4 to get: I need Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. However my macbook is only 32 bit so that rules out CS5 and the financial help probably won't stretch to cover a newer mac.
Can anyone confirm which version I need? I'm finding conflicting answers even on the few sites that still sell it.
I only have 2 gigs Ram in this Macbook Intel Core Duo (high as it will go - first generation) and currently have around 14 gig hard drive space. I might be able to up that by shifting stuff to an external drive. I've also considered installing the Adobe itself on one, although that too, has conflicting info.
Right now I'm running Leopard, but I have the Snow Leopard upgrade and plan to use it soon.
I know it's a bit of a squeeze, but thanks to my old Imac I'm used to juggling external drives and the like. (Although obviously a newer mac would be better.);)

Two lines now - one for reservations and one for walk-ins
I would say around 250 to 300 in each line - Apple Store Employees are running around, but I don't think they're opening until 7 am

cheers for the quick reply twoodcc. i have the console version installed too. its working now.
the GUI version doesnt let you do anything, just think of the TM preferences! its that... lol.
i can run the console version if need be, any hints to change preferences etc? its currently using ~770% of my CPU lol - i dont want it that hot.
i can't recall all the setting for the pref pane, but i know you can start the console version with the -configonly parameter to configure the client.
but let me ask, what machine are you running this on? and which client are you running?

I went from a 2010 13" MBA to a 2011 13" MBP and the one thing I really miss is the screen and the added resolution. Unfortunately the backlit keyboard, ability to change/upgrade my SSD and RAM outweighed it.
If the resolution is the only thing you're concerned with, go for the MBA. While it's not that much of an increase, it feels like it. The images and text are much more crisp and I don't recall any eye strain when using my MBA. Also the "glossy" scren isn't nearly as glossy as the MBP, so you don't get near as much glare.

I honestly do not think that much of what we saw today was the real iPhone. I am led to believe that everything from the phone calls to the satellite maps was all carefully planned, downloaded, packaged, and arranged as to prevent something from going on. I don't think that one of the calls made in that room today was legit. As such, they did not break the law regarding FCC. Nor is it false advertising, for the product millions of people end up buying will do everything Steve showed today, yet in a much less "science-lab" sense.
Also, the FCC could argue that what Steve did today was not really a test. Once your product is done being tested it has to receive FCC clearance. Or else anybody could go out and make walkie talkies or their own cell phone or other wireless devices.

Crackdown is more 'fun' than GTA. You are not limited by do missions A, B, C, D, E, F before you can get to next area. It's far more 'free' that GTA has ever been.
For someone with a lot of games you're sure missing the formula for a game.
Do something, get a reward. Do something better, get a bigger reward.
I like the Castlevania style play of everything being open to the player, you just have to upgrade yourself with various skills to get to them places. Certainly enhances the feeling of freedom. There's just no feeling of "oo I can't wait to get to place X" in Crackdown.
