It is not possible to create a universal binary without the original source code, and even if you had the source code it is highly likely that apps written for Snow Leopard will use APIs that are not available at all on PPC.

Thank guys. I'm working on services. I was pretty sure that the self update comes with being posted on update.mozilla.org, but I could be wrong. I'll find out when it finally does happen. I asked them to post the theme February 26th I think. Still waiting....
You don't need to actually uninstall the theme to update at present. Just install over it to update. It's less trouble.

After you submitted your entry, we added mention in the rules that you can suggest a title for your contest entry, to be used in the contest gallery.
We can use "Good enough for Lincoln" for yours, unless you have another preference.

Just took a look at the software and am downloading it right now to check it out in demo mode. I am looking forward to cataloging a number of videos, books, etc., as well as having a way to share said resources with family and friends.

Though I do also find it hard to justify spending money on something, which I feel I "basically" already own. Bioshock is all the Rapture experience I need.
Understandable. The game, as fun as it was, played very similarly to the first. So yea, even with all the slight changes and what not, you would be having major deja vu.

What OS X app would be good to benchmark SD cards? I have a couple different Class 10s and I'm curious what their actual speeds are.
You could try Xbench (http://www.xbench.com/)... It's old but it works. Just disable all benchmarks except for Disk Test, and set the volume to your SD card. I just ran it on my iMac i7 with a Transcend 32GB SD Class 6 card and got the following results:
Disk Test 1.51
Sequential 19.91
Uncached Write 17.45 10.71 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 16.48 9.32 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 17.68 5.18 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 37.93 19.06 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Random 0.79
Uncached Write 0.21 0.02 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 3.48 1.12 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 671.88 4.76 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 102.40 19.00 MB/sec [256K blocks]

Yeah the value changes. Fortune is a Linux command line application that gives a fortune every time it's run. I want to post this output to twitter and as you may know twitter only takes 140 characters.
I don't think you're walking through your code. You should sit down with a paper and pencil and walk through it while pretending to be the computer.
I do not mean "Imagine walking through it". I mean actually walk through it one line at a time, and actually write out what happens at each command line step. Then answer this question: Within the loop, when and where does the value of FORTUNE or COUNT change? If you can't find that place, then the problem and solution should be obvious.
In olden days this was called "bench-checking your work".

Also try Taco HTML edit (http://tacosw.com/htmledit/download.php), weird name but a very nice and free WYSIWYG html/php editor. :)
Also, try searching/browsing the forums a bit before posting new threads. This topic isn't exactly new...

wow, 41 positives and 1 negative? never seen that before. it's always "mac prices are lowered! 41 positives and 10 negs (<-- dunno why)"
It's because certain people are never satisfied, and dissapointed when Apple doesn't live up to their over-blown expectations of them. When they see "Mac prices lowered" they get excited, then reading the article see that they were lowered $100, and they thought they should have been lowered $200, so they vote it negative.

I'm trying to enable multitasking gestures in Xcode. I start the application, make sure I'm viewing the organizer window, but there's no section for Devices. All my iDevices show up in iTunes but not Xcode for some reason.
Any ideas?
What version XCode are you running? If I remember correctly minimum version is 3.2.6

I am not sure if all the computing is done in iPhone or if the application is only an UI that still requires back-end computation on the server. Either way, it doesn't make sense.
It sends it to the website and then sends you the answer.
I see a bookmarking button. Safari has a bookmarking button, too...

No, just quality. I bought one on eBay for a friend and it fried her iPod. But Monoprice makes great quality cables. And super cheap too.

I didn't say anything about the iBook being able to play HD video.
I didn't say the iBook couldn't host HD video.
I understand both of those points. You obviously deal with a much higher bitrate HD than I do. I have 720p XviD/DivX and 480p h.264 so my bitrates are more in the 700KB - 3MB range. You're obviously dealing with 720p and 1080p h.264 which is out of the reach of my PowerPC hardware to play. I do host a little 1080p h.264 on my file server G4 though for playing on my media center mac mini which is a C2D 1.83GHz.

You might be able to save on tax if buying from a reseller, depending on what state you live. And they might have lower ($50??) prices and usually have free shipping.
