You can ONLY do a tethered jailbreak on 4.3 (or 4.3.1) currently.. as someone has stated here..
And only on iPad 1 NOT iPad 2, correct?

Mine is Bliks3m, just Bliksem with a 3 to be "1337" It's basically a slang word in afrikaans
bliksem - strike, hit, punch, also used as an expression of surprise/emphasis (rude, considered by many to be profanity) Derives from the ancient Germanic god Blitzen "lightning" and is used together with "donner". Is used as a curse in Afrikaans "Jou bliksem!"
Just getting some creativity working...

The Resolved prefix (at least) doesn't show when the forum is viewed from the mobile site.
BIt's too bad that the mobile forum software doesn't support all features of the full site interface.
Too bad resolved cannot auto-close the thread.
We wouldn't want it to. [Resolved] means that the O.P. considers the problem solved or question answered, but other users may still have comments to make, for example if they encountered a similar problem, had a similar question, or didn't understand the previous posts.

BUT
Considering that IOS 4.3 just want GM today - it would then show that iPAD 2 will be shipping with 4.21 on it.
which IS jailbreakable.
But when u first connect it to iTunes it's gonna ask you to update to 4.3 which we will just decline for the time being....

Another reason Alt/Option may be "locked" is that you may have set up firmware password protection. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1352 (It actually shows up as a lock).
If so, turn it off.

1) I don't believe so.
2) I just uninstall and reinstall the new version of Firefox. I haven't noticed that I lose anything, bookmarks, extensions, or plugins.
Oh, and I'm on a Windows  machine. I don't know if that makes a difference.
Hope this helps you out.
I don't know how the Windows version works, because I haven't updated one recently, but in both Windows and MacOS, *search* plug-ins ONLY are stored with the program files -- within the "c:\program files\mozilla firefox\searchplugins" folder in Windows and in the /applications/.../firefox/contents/MacOS/searchplugins folder in MacOS. Whereas all other extensions and themes are at least referenced in the profile, so that Firefox still has them on upgrade. But when you upgrade FF on a Mac by dragging the file from the disk image over the copy on the HD, it does overwrite any search plug-ins with the default, and the only way I've found around this is to archive the searchplugins folder before updating. I'm sure the FF people must be aware of this though...but still, maybe I should bother to make a comment in the FF forums.

Don't mean to hijack, but I wanted to see what your opinion of the current mini at a high resolution performs like (2560x1440)?
when I went from the 2007 2.0 with the intel gpu to a 2.26 2009 with a nvidia 9400 gpu.
i had huge eyeTv improvement in picture quality it was off the air rooftop antenna and CBS NBC ABC FOX all had better reception. Sports movies everything improved along with DVD and netflix streaming. I later upgraded to a 2.66 2009 8gb ram with a double estata hack . I use a pair of these as twin boot drives.

I picked up an iPad because I had to support it for a client that picked up 20 of them. The company paid for it so I didnt mind but figured I would noodle around with it enough to learn the interface and then it would collect dust. The more I used it, the more I liked it and as I worked on the project for the client to replace their notebooks for travel, I found I was mostly able to replace mine as well. Now I carry it everywhere. After my wife got ahold of it and starting playing around she wanted one too...so now I have 2 of them. Unless there is a huge speed bump with the next version I cant see myself "upgrading" immediately though, the nasal cam just holds no interest for me and it looks like the resolution is going to be the same. My guess is that like my macbook and imac I will likely be on an every 2nd or 3rd generation upgrade cycle. I do have kids wanting ipads now too though, so who knows maybe ill upgrade next time around and use the excuse of more memory (I have a 32gb now but would love to have a 64gb) and pass mine on to the kids.

From the One to One Terms of Service (http://www.apple.com/retail/onetoone/terms.html):
That's interesting. The way I understand it is that I can buy my Mac somewhere else and then go to Apple within 14 days to buy the 1to1. Am I understanding that correctly?

This has been my one and only PSN purchase. I bought it for nostalgia value and it's not especially in-depth but if you were a fan of the original it's a good buy.

I think that legreve gave you some really solid advice. You editing is really good, way better than mine was when I was 15. Just concentrate on slowing down your zooms/pans and keeping the camera steady when you have to film.

Come on kids. You can work it out with a bit of pythagoras. Do you need me to tie your shoe laces for you as well?
You wouldn't use pythagoras: it's for right angled triangles, and the iMac isn't in the shape of a triangle; to find out the size of the stand, you would use estimated proportions, as you don't have any other data from that "helpful" website.
I thought this was funny - when people try to outsmart someone and end up failing. Just like on YouTube:
"Your dum." *Marked as spam*
Then someone replies: "You're the dumb one. You can't spell 'your' or 'dum'."
or, "Irony at its best."

As a Mac user just avoid file sharing sites and start using OpenDNS.com (http://www.opendns.com/). They have an instructional video (http://www.opendns.com/support/videos/basic) to show you how to use it. This way you can block know Trojan hosting sites from ever reaching you along with blocking any site you want without having to install any software on your network.
Oh, by the way OpenDNS is in London (http://blog.opendns.com/2006/12/31/live-from-london-its-opendns/) and in Amsterdam (http://blog.opendns.com/2009/08/31/opendns-amsterdam/), as well as other servers around the world.
