Haha, exactly what I was thinking.
Sometimes, the app store restrictions are a bit ridiculous, and when Apple realizes that they're dealing with people who know what they're doing, they remove those restrictions quickly.
What they really need, though, is the ability to recognize items of merit before turning them down. It reminds me of how ridiculous zero tolerance rules are on school campuses. Expelling students for "weapons" that are not really weapons i.e. finger nail clippers, etc. Rules and filters are fine when not implemented in a manner that lacks common sense. However, it comes with the territory now that Apple is in the media distribution game. To enter such and arena, one accepts the inherent danger of becoming a censor. To be completely open to all content would be an irresponsible business decision in terms of PR. Tighten up your filter a little to much and you land on the other end of negative PR. Apple will be adjusting its policies towards content for years and never find a perfectly safe position.

I used Pages to produce some documentation for my day job.
I found Pages easy to pick up, and the end result of my work has turned more than a few heads at the office.
So much so, that we're probably going to purchase a Mac mini + Pages to be a dedicated writing machine. :D
This, as opposed to purchasing a single license for Adobe InDesign, which at $699 USD, is actually more expensive.

I am thinner than Steve Jobs. How long do I have left?

It is so much easier to abort than to raise a child.
Are you suggesting it is harder to abort than to raise a child?
Until you've done both, and lived with the consequences, your opinion is worthless.

Wouldn't that be so annoying in the dark, like the backlight on the keyboard of a MBP when your watching a movie?
I've thought about that but I personally cup my thumb around the bezel so I wouldn't notice it....
Don't know how others hold it when surfing web/YouTube videos....

I know of a company that makes....let's say trailers. They are built in Brazil. They ship them to the US in crates. When they get here, they are uncrated, the wheels and tongue are bolted on, and they slap an "Assembled in the USA" sticker on 'em and sling 'em out the door.

I assume that means you could go back and start over on that machine though if you wanted
Sure, like any "Wipe out / Restore"...
Maybe... Just "maybe", you might be able to re-run the installer like an upgrade to do it so long as you haven't yet updated to a 10.7.x, where x > 0 (or whatever version you started with later on). But don't be surprised if that's not even possible.

Neither is Zuckerberg. He is not legally allowed to yet.

NOTHING will be released until January. Looking at the buyer's guide, only two products since January 2002 have been released in November or December. The two exceptions are the 1.8 GHz Dual PowerMacG5 and the 20" iMac G4. To my understanding, no iPod line has ever been released or revised in November or December. I can see an iPhone being released at MWSF, but I doubt it as I haven't seen any evidence of it in Engadget Mobile's FCC Fridays report. True video iPod: I don't know why they'd do something like that. What's wrong with the design of the iPod with a physical wheel and all that's been used for five years?

Can anyone confirm that the update does not make the Mac Pro noisier?
In the past Apple has repeatedly upgraded fan speeds by these updates a couple of months AFTER all reviews had been written. I had once bought my Powerbook G4 (besides other aspects) because it was very quite. A few SMC updates later the fan was running continuously and as such probably lowering average temperatur and service return rate for Apple.

I found this interesting, apparently people can't buy an iphone online from AT&T delivered to NY. However, you can still get it at stores.
http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/28/iphone.sales.nyc/index.html
What do you guys think? Fraud? Just a glitch? Or desperate measure by AT&T to stop the congestion?
Umm - did you read any of this thread at all?

I think I am going to do the University Park store since I have never been there and I have been to the Knox street store a lot.
Probably get there around 1pm tomorrow hopefully the line won't be too bad.

While it doesn't seem surprising that Jobs did all the talking, I would hope that he could also listen a bit and maybe glean some insight on what's going on in Schmidt's head.

So if I understand you want to use her Netstick to provide data for your I4. I think that's what you mean. If so I ask the Netstick provider or on a forum of Netstick users.
