Does this mean even after CIR + SKIL passes and gets enacted, causing PDs to move forward significantly or become current in some categories and allowing us to file 485 & EAD... we have to wait 8 more years in preadjucation/ FBI name check delays/ Service Center Application backlogs (current NSC backlogged to Sept 06 for EB based 485)?
I am really freaked out. Can someone please shed some light on this.

Have you sent the renewal papers to the right location? If not, after Mar 26th receive date, the applications will be sent back to the applicant - to be sent to the correct lock box.

I would LOVE to meet the good Senator. However there is this debate that whether we shud wait for the specialists to give us points or make them ourselves.

That sucks about the comp not being able to take it. I know what that is like all too well.
I have been using Photoshop since April 2001. I started with Photoshop 6 and now I have 7. It sometimes lags on me when I create large 1024x768 wallpaper images and such.

Shouldn't craigslist have some checks for this kind of thing. Especially when they are charging for these ads. Youtube has automatic checks to see if someone is posting any offensive and or pirated media for even the free content.
Can we take it up with craigslist so they monitor this kind of postings.

Leahy, reportedly set the CIR as one of the top agenda of the Judiciary Committee for March 2007 and the Democratic leaders reportedly determined to pass the CIR by April 2007 and quickly send it over to the House for its prompt action. How beautiful the agenda of the new Congress.
We want to watch carefully how closely the leaders of the House and Senate will follow through the agenda. In a way, from the perspectives of this immigration legislation agenda, we are relieved that the Congress was over with the most serious road block to the Congress, to wit, rebuke of Bush's resurge in Iraq.

She doesn't have to go for H4 Visa stamping, as she already has a valid H4 Visa stamping valid until Aug 2009. (I think). I'm more worried about Port of Entry, if she will have any problems..
You are wrong. Since she is currently on an H1B, her previous H4 stamp is invalid. She will need to get it restamped. When she returns, at the port of entry, unless she gets her H4 restamped, her status will be H1B and she will not be let in on her old H4 stamp.

Since it is a new H1 I would say unless the petitioning employer is not co-operating, Then you don't have any other choice. You need to wait until next April for new H1.
Did u try to go to another consulate, Say Mumbai or Chennai or Kolkata.
I am not sure if that would work, since i have heard that consulate will sometimes hold the passport and/or stamp on the back that this application was received.
If you are able to go to another consulate go ahead and check your luck, sometimes they don't ask anything for documentation (This happened with me twice)

This document is mandatory - why don't you either ask your lawyer for a copy or call up USCIS and explain the case. Another option would be to send your Online status (from USCIS website), either way - I recommend you get your I485 receipt and then scan all your documents and email it to yourself for future use.

Even approved GC and Neutralized Citizenship certificates also can be revoked, if it was found later that there was some fraud involved in it.
I know the GC and citizenship process is long and hard, but did not realize it required such sacrifices (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=neuterizing)... :D

I'm having a problem with a Nikon d100 camera taking the necessary pictures for a high dynamic range photo. I need to take 3 pictures in a short ammount of time (which I can do, using the bracket setting) but I need to vary the shutter speed manually in this setting, with a different exposure time for each of the 3 pictures taken in the bracket. Is there any way that I can do this, or any software that will allow me to accomplish this?

No insurance here covers pre-existing conditions. sorry... Others can correct me, but only india network plan covers emergency conditions that arise from pre-existing conditions.. at least better than nothing. Hence, plan accordingly. You can still get expensive plans with a better coverage but still they don't cover any pre-existing conditions. Regarding normal situations, one of my friends had good experience with them for one of the claims.. pls note, i have nothing to do with them and not a PR for them.
if you shop more, you should get a comprehensive plan that covers everything but will be interesting to see how affordable it will be..
