I see some words 'brightest', and 'high-skilled'. Who is classified as 'brightest' and 'high-skilled'?
Can EB immigrants expect something out of CIR?

I had a positive skin test & doctor recommended the 9 months tb treatment, but I applied for I485 & EAD because the doctor did provide me with I693 sealed envelope.

Now, Will it be a problem to get an EAD??? because I haven't completed my 9 months of treatment.

I didn't quiet get from your message whether the "08xxxxxxx" has an "A" preceding it. In all probabilty it should.

If it indeed has an "A". It is a A# so you might as well forget about deducing on a visa # being assigned based on the A# on the FP :)

An according the website you referred to, nowhere does he mention about a visa #. The A# being assigned for life has nothing to do with a visa # !

I'm trying to understand if it is a general practice of USCIS to specify an A# on the FP notice. My FP notice has an A# that starts with 08xxxxxxx. I wonder if it is the actual visa number since according to http://www.kkeane.com/general-faq.shtml my number is the visa number:

Guys,

I have a question about interfiling. My signature explains my green card situation. My EB3 I-140 with a PD of 9/2001 is still not approved.

Is it true that USCIS never responds to interfiling requests ? As per my attorney, they accept the interfiling letter and process it or they don't. My attorney is pretty darn good and honestly have no complaints till now but this particular information is kind of bothering me and just want to be sure.

Would appreciate if anyone could help me clear this up.

I don't know many people are eagerly looking for Nov bulletine. I am almost done with looking for any hope in near future. Most of EB-2 guys might be following these bulletines. If there are some indications that dates are changing then we see lot of traffic on this forum , otherwise just like sleeping dog!

ski_dude12, u r just inviting trouble for urself by not keeping uscis in the loop. I assume u lost ur night's sleep looking for the valid source of my earlier comment? keep looking.

Are you sure about that? Can you give your source that says

"You have to inform them of every small move even after citizenship is approved".

If you can support your post by citing a valid source then its fine, otherwise stop shooting off your hips please.

I think many of us send the affidavit of non availablity..your case must be in mad man's hand....I guess what other guys suggesting should do the job for you...
Did you c a update online or you just recived the RFE with no online status change.

I have submitted 3 affidavits and non-availability certificate, but NSC sent RFE asking for oldest evidence of birth
a. medical records with child and both parents name
b. hospital records with child and both parents name
c. census records with child and both parents name
d. school records with child and both parents name
e. religious records with child and both parents name for naming ceremony.

I do not have any of them, at the most the school record is 10th grade with only fathers name.
Any ideas?,. Lawyer says its OK, send whatever is available and write an explanation why any of the above can't be obtained.

Which state/year were you in when you filed for EAD?
Think hard - it must have been a few months before your graduation.
If you can get the center and month/yr right, with the copy of the EAD, you should be good to go.

I would appreciate it if someone can give me some advise...I need to file my EAD renewal & refuse to pay insane amounts of money to my attorney...

I traveled- chicago-frankfurt-bangalore- H1B extended but visa stamp expired. No one asked anything while going.
While coming back they checked my AP at bangalore only (Check-in, indian immigration and boarding). no one asked for it in Frankfurt.
on I-94 that they give in flight, leave the visa issuance date blank (air line crew did not understand what AP is?).

I understand that the chance is slim.... almost microscopic :rolleyes: But I need to prepare for the worst case (or is it the best...?? :confused:) hence the question.
Any idea about how long consular processing takes and does it depend on priority dates (in the case of a further retrogression)?

Yes, CP depends on PD as well. The best option for you is to have her fly back to US once the Visa bulletin shows your PD as current and start the prep work (documents, medical tests etc) and file her case along with AP/EAD so once she gets her AP approval, she is free to travel again.

I dont understand any of the EB3 not moving it is the beginning of the fiscal year, they should be moving forward not be stuck....
Are we going to have another July 2007 fiasco?
