Exactly. If AAPL leaves the retina display untouched, and just adds the A5 chip, a new NFC chip, and with whatever goodies iOS 5.0 will bring, that to me is a whole new phone, definitely worthy of the 5.0 moniker.

I called up CS (to talk about an unauthorized charge) and then the CS rep let me know of the Unlimited M2M plan. Switched it and it was rather painless.

I've never been able to understand how a WiFi phone could be a success before WiFi networks become pervasive and virtually free. How could you use a WiFi phone in your car, for instance? And what's the point of having iChat on your phone when you can only use it in the currently few and limited WiFi-enabled areas?The phones aren't purely WiFi - they use WiFi when they can, and downgrade to cellular when necessary.

so it seem that everybody is jumping on this cloud bandwagon. just wondering if having web based operating systems and file storage will slow down broadband internet speed?
is that a concern? honestly i'd rather have faster internet, if that's the choice.

Since it reacently became freeware I have to include TextWrangler (http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/) from BareBones, an exellent free alternative to BBEdit, also from Bare Bones. This one doesn't suck,� either... ;)
Also second, Adium X (http://adiumx.com/), which is so much better than Adium was... best multi protocol IM software I've found so far...

Hello,
I have been struggling with my wireless connection in my black MacBook lately. Its a very strange behavior, but I will try to explain it and hope someone can help me with it.
So I connect to my wireless network, every time I start my MacBook it connects automatically. The issue is when viewing a YouTube video or playing any flash game, suddenly the connection drops and if I try to connect to it again it doesn't find it. It doesn't find any network at all. I turn AirPort off and on again, but it still doesn't find anything. The only way of getting it to work again is by getting it into sleep mode or restarting it.
As none of the network related solutions I found online have worked, I got some console log info that may help to know what could be going wrong:
