The iBook's screen display 1024x768 and is set to be able to mirror it's own display onto another (show exactly the same image as the actual iBooks' display). However, there is a screen spanning hack (http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/ibook_e.html) which does three things.
It lets you run an external display at higher resolutions (easily making it up to a 17 inch monitor's 1280x1024 or whatever it is).
It lets you span the display. This means you can have different things on different displays, they're not merely mirrored.
And finally it voids your warrantee.

I found your answer with MRoogle. You can, too! "I looked and I didn't find anything that helped me resolve the issue I'm having" I did a search with MRoogle and it stated what the flashing folder meant but not how to resolve the problem.
I apologize for being such a NooB with this but yes I am a NooB with learning about Macs so please just bare with me please.....
Ok so I did some searches and didn't really come up with any results on how to fix my problem. When I have a flashing folder with a ? and the smiley face its looking for the OS. Well like stated before I did reinstall the OS once but after that it just wants to keep installing it. Then when I try to install it again i get an Error code 0 ..
Is there any help on this issue I'm having? Do I try to reformat it a different way, install the OS a different way,I am really out of ideas and really Regret doing what I did with the laptop should of could of would of but didn't leave it alone :(
Thanx again for any information shared..

Just use #import unless you wind up using headers with the same name. See:

yeah, I noticed this earlier...Delayed response I guess, heh...I have been kind of wondering about it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the back of my mind, and while I was browsing this thread I figured I'd ask. Speaking of which, my question still stands.

I'm going to get a :apple:TV soon. :)
Just wish there was a way I could plug my Wii into it?
<]=)
I just plug my AppleTV in, pick a playlist, unplug the video cables, then only put in the video cables for my Wii.

After a week's decline, it's up this morning.
I don't know if Wall Street regards this as major. Last week, I think, was just some profit-taking after the recent runup from about $45.

I've recently been playing around with N64, and remember how great the graphics looked on Tekken Tag (my first PS2 game, on the day it came out here after a midnight queue) compared to that. It is amazing that we have come that far in such a short timespan. Tekken Tag looks rubbish compared to the latest PS2 games...
I don't care what Nintendo says, for a lot of games, the graphics improve the gaming experience greatly. I do not currently (and may never) have a PS3, but I am sure that this Lair will look dreadful in a few years compared to what will have been achieved on the same hardware.

It's very likely a technical problem they're having.

the Dreamcast did better that most people think. it outsold the PS2 at launch and it was starting to outsell the PS2 when they pulled the plug (not total units sold) but it Sega would have not pulled the plug it would have started to gain on them. what killed the Dreamcast was the over hype of the PS2 and its ability to play dvd's , and the Dreamcast lack of good 3rd party developers and sega was hurting for money thanks to the failure of the SEGA cd, 32-X, and saturn, and could not keep up with the Dreamcast.
The DVD player was a big part of it. PS2s were selling like hotcakes in Japan b/c it was one of the least expensive dvd players on the market there.
Damn you Sega and your proprietary disc types!! /*cuddles her Dreamcast*/

Minor video editing, get the macbook pro.
Pros on going with the Pro:
It was just refreshed
The 13" offers good enough work area to do minor video editing (I was running on a 12" Powerbook G4 for years before I had to sell it).
It's priced competitively if you're comparing the entry level 13" Pro to the Macbook and MBA.
It's still lightweight, even compared to your Dell notebook.
I know people are telling you to consider the Air but when I was comparing the two I still think the MBP is still the way to go if you're going to perform some editing (Photo or Video). At times I feel some jitter/lag when editing photos on the MBA 11" and 13" base models. People might tell you to go towards the Ultimate for it to perform better but at that point you can upgrade your MBP to outperform the MBA for less.

You have a everyday use first gen iPod classic!!! Wow, surprise it still works since it is almost 10 yrs old. Would have throughout batteries or HD would fail with everyday use.
But you have less then 5gigs of music? Most ppl complain that the 64gigs is to small and that's why they need a 160 GB classic
I put most of my collection on ipod but I have much more than what's on there

So i have everything set up in SLS running perfectly: ichat, address book, ical, web pages, time machine, file sharing.....everything except email.
I've signed up for lynda.com and tried to copy their email set up and it just won't work out for me. I know that DNS is running locally and working because the network utility maps everything out and it works but here are my settings.
Godaddy.
A host is set to my external ip address
CNAME mail.domain.com pointing to server.domainname.com
MX record mail.domainname.com
Server:
machine record for server.domainname.com at ip address 192.169.1.2
alias mail.domainname.com pointing to server.domainname.com
mx record mail.domainname.com
email server setting:
host name: server.domainname.com
smtp enabled allowing incoming mail
so the problem is that when I set up a clients to look for either mail.domainname.com or server.domainname.com I get the error message that the "smtp server is not responding"
I can't seem to get it to respond no matter what i do.
Please help??

You can restore your iTunes Library file from just before the deletion, via Time Machine. You'll have to do this while iTunes is NOT running, though. By default, the file is here: /Users/username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Library

i agree with you here, but for me, 667 to 1+ghz would be quite a jump. nearly 100% speed increase. and yes, speed is not such an issue when opening a program, but doing high ends graphics work requires power.
the ti book is not for consumers who only surf and email. it is for pros who make a living with their ti book, their tool.
