So competition with Verizon having the iPhone = price increase??? How does that make any sense??
As they gobble up T-Mobile AT&T and Verizon can agree to price increases.

Can't you sort your library by name and manually select the dupes?
I don't know of a way to do this automatically.

Hmm, that would be interesting. Let's see what iFixit will say about that.
Agreed. All I can say is it looked like the one pictured on the front page here - no grid.

VW has always had conservative exterior designs, but this is a bit too much (or too little?).

These are good news. It really seems Apple is willing to go the distance and give more details on the issue.

Just watching the temps on iStat. How sad am I?
Most paste can take up to a week or two to take it's full effect.

I'm wondering how to access your battery information through cocoa (such as your battery percentage, time remaining). I know that on iOS you access it through UIDevice, but I cannot think of an equivalent one for OS X, does anyone know?

What I've been waiting for is true javascript support for wysiwyg textarea editors. I run a Mac blog site and I have to ask users to use Firefox. It seems a little sucky to do that for a Mac specific blogger site. Since Safari 1.3 Apple said they included the nessesary "hooks" for these editors, but no one has been successful in getting any of them to work in Safari.
I downloaded the latest nightly build of Webkit and it still doen't work :(
Actually, there are a few that do work, mostly commercial like Asbru's editor - http://editor.asbrusoft.com/
The problem is, the support in Safari still isn't brilliant and the other guys like FCK, TinyMCE etc so far aren't willing to work around the bugs knowing that Apple is fixing them in a forthcoming release anyway.

btw, whats the verdict on ram coolers? yes/no
IMO yes, esp. copper ones. I've bought some of these (http://shop.conrad-uk.com/1/2-a2-uk0871057__akasa-memory-cooler-copper-ak-171-.html). On clearance it was for about 2 per 1 stick set.

I loved the keynote. Steve's excitement was palpable - he really believes this is the next big thing. Let's give him a little credit here.
I would be willing to bet the next month will be announcement after announcement of upgrades and updates.
Apple is getting stronger and stronger as a company and that is good for the mac and us.

Might want to check the signature app in the store. I've had it for over a year, you can choose up to 6 signatures. Use to be called signature pro, but my app says just Signature.
FWIW.
If this (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/email-signature-pro/id317243351?mt=8) is what you are talking about, the current version is $5. Which would be fine, except the recent reviews are very poor.
It also looks (from the screencaps) like you run the app to pick one of a handful of signatures, when most of us just want to have one specific signature assigned each mailbox...
Regardless, thanks for the heads up.

Why does this forum still exist?
iphone 3G Launch Meetups...not happenning anymore
Then why did you bother to post a thread. They can always change the name to 3rd gen or use it for other things. :)

Go test drive a Camry/Malibu/Accord to find out what that feels like. :o
If it is anything like my Subaru Baja... then I already know LOL
I have to admit I always thought the Fahrvergngen thing was a bit silly, but it did position the VWs as "different", something the new Jetta and Passat are emphatically not. They are intentionally more the same.
Never understood that ad campaign - till my ex and I bought our VW's. Me the New Beetle and him the Cabrio just months apart. That was a very happy salesman that day! LOL
In the end it was just how fun the Cabrio was fun to drive that made me jump to the New Beetle. Reliability was the reason I dumped my New Beetle... made in Mexico. While the ex's Cabrio was made in Germany with no major problems. Go figure....
