I am alarmed at the growth rate of Microsoft in the space of your post. One company is more than enough.

I would be surprised if Apple reverted to having the headphone jack on the bottom of the iPhone next to the charging slot. This seems very suspect to me.

This is an iPod touch we're dealing with here, not an iPhone.

Also, I agree with pmz above. People agreeing with the idea of a capacitative button aren't thinking it through. It would be a real pain in the butt and would quickly have people returning the device. Playing games such as Real Racing 2 (which most people play while placing their thumbs either side of the screen in landscape orientation), for example, would be impossible.

By the way...Steve Jobs has a rare form of Pancreatic Cancer, called Islet cell carcinoma. The 10 year survival rate is 32%. That is very good, especially with all the money and drive that Steve has. He looks like he is a man on chemo, not a man who is going to die. I say he lives till his 80's.

I think it's closer to 4-6% for 5 years Pancreatic cancer is the only cancer to have a 5 year survival rate of a single digit.

As long as they continue to produce innovative and quality products the marketshare will grow and then word of mouth or usage of a system will sustain it.

No, you made his point because you went all defensive and fearful over Android.

It's not any "harder" to use or figure than iOS. Heck, the iPhone has a 274 page user manual... So much for "intuitive".

Huh?! I didn't think I got defensive over Android. I don't know how just stating Android was difficult to use translates to "I am defensive and fearful over Android".

I just stated Android was difficult to use. That's similar to saying I like eating icecream out of the box rather than taking my time putting it in a bowl or a cone and then eating it. See what I'm saying? Now, some people may like the latter way but I much prefer iPhone's navigation, iPhone browser, perfect integration with iTunes, iCal, Mail and others, and the App Store to Android. That said, I do like a lot of the Android features, especially the notification bar that just amazed me.

I use iPhone because I found it much intuitive to use. If you take my iPhone away and force me to use Android, will I enjoy it? No of course not but I won't be fearful of using it...geez.

P.S. Android has over 300 pages of user manual. But that's beside the point right? ;)

Can't believe aperture doesn't support more RAW types yet.

Until it supports more/all of the raw types, it will never be a real 'pro' application imho

Aperture only uses the RAW formats that OS X uses. When 1.4.8 comes out it will support more.

Although it looks pretty nice, it is a half-assed approach to improvement.

    - No spam management
    - No full feature set (missing bounce, etc.)
    - No full data set for the Address Book (still can't note bdays, etc.)
    - No iCal integration with a fully editable calendar

Seriously would these things be too hard to do? Google does them so why doesn't Apple?

Sometimes I get the feeling that there are only interns working on .mac

The sad part apparently is that although Nintendo hope for a big success they won't launch their console with any special games released by them. Apparently they will hope 3d parties will launch and promote the console with their apps.

The only thing that will make me replace my current MBA is if the new model has a backlit keyboard. I greatly miss this feature.

Other than that, better battery life would be great.

It's clear that some iPhone 4s are thicker.

Probably just terrible manufacturing, different moulds, etc. That could definitely be a contributor. But hey, I'm not a manufacturer. Just speculating! :D

Set your phone & computer's time zone to Arizona time, and sync again. Does that help?

FWIW, my phone was set to Arizona time.
