No. Intel graphic card is not acceptable
Why are people acting like the new Intel Graphics are the return of the plague or something. They're not even that much worse than the 320m's and definitely better than the 9400m's in the generation before. Sandy bridge processors would more than make up for the slight performance decrease in the Intel GPUs.

Did Apple do this last year? If not, this could mean Apple really wants developers to give users who purchase the next iPhone an enhanced experience over iPhone 4 users. What that enhanced experience is remains to be seen. Maybe 1GB of ram and something else that will make some iPhone 4 users jealous, especially when their iPhone 4 turns into an iPhone 3G someday.

ummm an iPhone, but what it will make this thing special, Design?, Os?, well one thing is for sure, Apple design things that are really kickin ass, iMacs, iPods, an such things. The OS, well it will be like the iPod OS (but definitely much better) on this iPhone, i dont think apple will put and minimal version of OS X on this iPhone... or could they?

crime, I'm not sure how I forgot that word. Mea culpa
Nobody is saying you can't discriminate against someone who's shoved a gun in your face and asked for all the money in your cash register.
However, what's your rationale for discriminating against someone who has sat down at a table and wants to order a hamburger and fries?
Males are far more likely to commit violent crimes than females. If you were worried about statistics, then it would make sense to open an "ladies only" establishment.

Wouldn't using the "extra" electricity to power fans to decrease heat lead to less "extra" electricity???? I hope they really think this through - and I'm sure they will. Of course powering fans isn't the only use for electricity.
I think that maybe you could think of this as something that harnesses the heat and slows the power drain from the battery for the same amount of heat produced by the cpu.
Of course they could use the extra power to provide a little more cooling to the chip, but only enough not to take the thermal difference (which generates the power in the first place) away. Now that makes it a lot clearer dosn't it!
Another cool idea would be to use one of those microscopic steam turbines. Steam turbines would remove heat and create power at the same time.... or was that some dream I had.

Lion Server
Simply a better server.
Lion Server is now part of Mac OS X Lion. Its easy to set up your Mac as a server and take advantage of the many services Lion Server has to offer. Here are just a few of the new features that make server deployment faster, easier, and more powerful than ever.
That doesn't say anything about the preview.

Before all you Apple fannies disagree with this; just remember Apple is trying to sue everyone else too.
It's all ridiculous.
"Apple fannies" -- I like that.
Seriously, the amusing part of this is that patent trolls are usually companies who never produce anything based on those patents. Sadly, Kodak is a company that once produced decent stuff, but is now essentially acting like a patent troll because they don't really produce squat anymore. Considering that Kodak is busy liquidating entire manufacturing sites, it would be amazing if this company ever made comeback (even if they won $1B from Apple).

Just what can Target say? "If you allow Apple do do something that might cut into out DVD sales we will intentionally sell fewer DVD" Kind of like holding a gun to your head threatening to shoot.
All we need now is the Target chairman slowly driving around Cupertino in a white Bronco with 200 police cars tailing him.

Just looking at the ''Server Admin' screenshots posted, i noticed that in the list of Services, both AFP and NFS are missing. Is File Sharing managed somewhere else in Lion?
This seems to be all i can find and its in the server app.
I did think i saw something in server admin but after checking it again i seem to be wrong.

I always assumed it was monkeys, so I guess interns would be a step up.
Yeah, for a $99/yr offering, it's stunningly meager.
Well that would explain a lot. :D
But seriously though, it's not that much that is missing from .mac to make it worth the $99 without regrets.
Like:
- fully editable web calendar
- fully editable address book
- spam management
- more storage (2GB would be sufficient)
- make the Finder fast so iDisk is actually usable
- web editable blog synched back to iWeb
- possibility to show subscribed iCals in web interface without having to visit their site
- integrate stickies into .mac and synch them
With those things, that would be fairly easy to do I don't think a lot of people would complain anymore.
And it's not really something completely new, just evolution of the existing.

I find it funny how investors continue to trust these "analyst" even though none of them have any insider information and are wrong 90% of the time, the other 10% of the time they have been correct was from publishing rumors as facts from stories they more likely read here on MacRumors regarding future products.
http://www.macrumors.com/2010/10/06/early-apple-tv-sales-estimated-at-1-million-per-quarter/
like this guy "Alex Gauna" who called 20 Apple Stores around the country and already determined that the new Apple TV is selling at a rate of 1 millions units a quarter, even thought Apple Stores never give out any information of how many units have been received or sold.
how do these people still have jobs?

it loads the webmail interface but i can't click on anything. that means the links are recognized by the cursor but nothing happens. it says error in page. so no webmail for me anymore. $99 for that? i want my old webmail back!
You can still access the old webmail, look in the help section.
One thing I noticed is it doesn't seem to auto check like gmail?

United is the ONLY airline that does this.
No they're not. I've listened to ATC transmissions on Delta and Alaska Air too... Then again, it's been a few years since I've flown anyone other than United, Southwest and Frontier and of those three, United is the only doing it.

Got my copy of Leopard and t-shirt! Start queuing about half four, maybe a little after.
I didn't expect that amount of people I mean, I figured there'd be a lot of people, but :D. Also, congrats to the Apple store security people for blocking off the fools who started their own alternate queue from the opposite side of the store entrance. The organisation was crappy though. I don't know how many t-shirts there really were, but if anyone from Apple is reading this, next time someone should probably walk down the queue while it's not frantic and hand out numbered tickets for people to show as they go in.
I can't wait to get home and install it though! The front is so shiny :O

Not at all. As I said, I have no inclination for either Joe or RATM, or most chart music in general to be honest. I just thought the 'campaign' was pathetic, and still do.
It will be interesting to see what gets played more on the radio over the next week. I have a feeling it won't be RATM, which will indicate how pathetic and meaningless this whole 'campaign' has been. This is what I have been getting at all along. Someone will need to let me know though as I don't listen to the radio much either.
Well you're a cheery lad. I thought it's all been pretty funny.

Cah! It is the people who asked who should be embarrassed.
I got there about 5 and about half-way around the block which was good enough to snag a shirt, keyboard and Leopard by about 6.15.
My main purpose in commenting though is to say congrats to Apple on the management of the event, especially the policing of the queue. It was good to see they dealt with pushing in because, let's face it, they get the same money whether you push or not.
(one machine Leoparded, two to go!)
I agree with you there. I too thought they handled the queue very well and very professional. Well done Regent Street! Plus, well done to all the staff inside, seeing that armada of people constantly coming in couldn't be easy to face!
