iOS evolution from 1 to 4 is somewhat disappointing. It has become somewhat stale, especially for the iPad. Hopefully iOS 5 is a big leap forward.
Yeah, it seems like they only make enough improvements to stay in the game, and aren't super interested in really mind-blowing advances. It's the little things that count for sure, but for all the hype you'd think we'd get something mind-boggling every once in a while.

I had all IV.
They start the IV, inject one drug. It made me feel really, really good. I think I am addicted to it, because I would love to have some more of it. (No, I haven't had any since the surgery).
The second drug he injected me with made me start laughing at everything he (the anthesiologist) said, then my head got really heavy....don't remember anything after that.
Luckily, they do all the "bad" stuff after you are asleep....tube down your throat, foley catheter.. :eek:

I have read numerous threads concerning this issue but seems like they are related to jailbreaking? I have not done this. Ihad purchased a number of apps and had not yet backed up on my itunes- therefore do not want to have to restore.

Just because they are improving this build doesnt mean there aren't some major apps or system features they are not revealing to developers.
They could be updating another version of the OS alongside this one with extra goodness!, and the updates are most likely to be fixes based on what the devs tell them is buggy.
I think they have purposefully left stuff out of Leopard for the moment so that it is even more shocking when it is all revealed at the launch of Leopard! thats what apple does best, shocks the public with "one more thing!"I have to agree. Sure we have minor updates but that can't compete with Vista and those features aren't really good enough to be "Top Secret" after all -- how valuable to Microsoft and appealing to buyers are those small features anyway?

now a 2-month old PowerMac is already becoming obsolete.
I certainly hope you didn't buy a Power Mac two months ago, especially since Apple announced the intel switch over a year ago.
Classic was supported until what, last year essentially? And the G3 machines up until Leopard? ;) :cool:
The original G3's were only suppored through 10.2.
While I wish I could run this on my quad, it makes total sense. They're not "abandoning" anyone since this is a new app, and probably won't have a final version shipping for months. If they're expecting slow adoption of this anyway, why bother doing a version that people will be abandoning as fast as they are adopting?
While the intel only thing is a negative, I'm very happy to see any new audio apps appear that are alternatives to STP. Soundtrack Pro is a turd and has been since its release what, a year and a half ago? Apple needs to realize that shipping an app that is complete garbage is not acceptable.
I'd much rather run Sound Forge under parallels than use STP.

1. the A5 is more than a minor spec bump - it's a serious spec bump.
Not enough to justify the non-inclusion of LTE/4G.

It would be great if the iPhone went to another carrier especially T-Mobile since they are lacking a real flagship device. But i keep thinking for some reason that as much as AT&T and Apple are like a married couple that argues all the time that the iPhone may never go to another carrier.
Because Apple loves to be the Dominatrix i guess you could say :p And i can't imagine another provider putting up with their demands. And doesn't apple have some type of say about the data plans as well? I remember an issue with Rogers in canada and how apple made them change one of the data plans.

Updated the EFI and the beast is moving faster (I did'nt hear any loud fans), SMC was already updated so I didnt need to download it.
But I dont see the other Hard drives; can u point me to a link that has the information?
