My first computer had a tape drive. A Commodore Vic 20. I wonder how long a cassette tape needs to be to hold a TB not to mention a PB?
Depends if you use "Turbo Loader" or anything similar or not ... How long would it take to rewind a tape like that?

Does the Apple Store carry any cases for the 4th generation iPod Touch?
I stopped by my local Apple store yesterday and asked that question and was told that they will not have any 4th gen cases this month. :(

So you can get a 1TB hard drive for $80.... 12,000 of those.... not that big of an expenditure tbf.
1TB Fiber Channel , 15K RPM SAS drives or SSD are much more expensive. You don't really use desktop harddrives in a SAN.

I see TJ Maxx's acquisition of some iPads as a marketing scheme. If a few select stores have at least 5 to offer at a discounted price, imagine what kind of results they would get if they offered them as a Black Friday Doorbuster Special. They would probably get hundreds lined up at the door like Best Buy does for a deeply discounted HDTV or laptop. As for a warranty, I don't think they offer warranties on any of their products because they are a clearing house.

A couple of those S2Ks earlier are AWESOME!! I've been really thinking about getting rid of my Talon and buying one of those. I need a new project car, and the S2K would be great. Those are just classic looking, so even years down the road, it will still look great. Thanks for the pics.

Your views of what constitutes provocative dress is clearly less extreme than that but your opinion appears to be remarkably similar: "Women shouldn't dress provocatively."
It is wrong to make judgement of anyone based on how they are dressed: A woman (or man) may dress provocatively for a night out because they want to find a partner for the night or into the future. That doesn't mean they are an open door to any scumbag who thinks that they can violate them

It's sad to see an "old timer" leave Apple, but I'm guessing that Serlet's financially set and wants to do some "pure" research at a university before he retires. Not everyone has that luxury.

I think the free 38 character engraving is one of the things that makes this product so special. Buying one without it seems to devalue it's significance to me. :rolleyes: :confused: :eek:
