I own an import company. Mainly importing from china. I gaurantee his profit margins are higher than 10-20%. His profit margin is minimum 50-70%.
Also if the kid was smart he should have incorporated or created an LLC and than imported and sold all the merchandise under that company. If he did that than his legal liability is pretty limited. They could sue his company for what it was worth. Probably not much. The could fine his company, which he could just shut down and pay none of the fines. He could get away with it with barely paying anything. How do you think all these companies that import Kirf products work?

Agreed, I was interested from our first conversation, but I don't think that a creepiness was exuded through a glance across a store, but maybe I am just naive. She went in the back, I found it a bit odd (and I was disappointed), I would fully admit I did want to TALK to her again, not much else to this point though. I don't know the girl so it isn't like I want to sweep her away or do anything fancy. I didn't stick around and wait for her to come out of the back either, that would have seemed creepy even to me. I didn't alter my actions or plans around her being at work, or not being at work, being present or not, etc. I have been there two other times, without her presence and I actually spent longer in the store talking to the Genius' or other employees trying to figure things out. Oh, and if anyone is wondering, I have not, and will not, ask her work schedule or hire on another employee to help me gather information on her, not my style.

...it worked reliably from my Mac Mini (2010) to my iPad 2 without saying "you are not authorized to play this video" every other time, I would care.
Work perfect with both my appletv 2 and my Zeppelin Air and except for a stutter here or there for a second or two I have found the technology easy to use and stable. :) Over burden wifi.
I love to see more of this technology implemented, my nice ipad 1;) has apple lossless albums in it and the music coming out sound great. It still just wifi but been able to streem music to anywhere in the house by hooking up an apple airport is also nice.
Airport with bose speakers upstairs kitchen area :) would not have been possible or as easy as it was before airplay.
So apple go for it make our lives easier to enjoy.:D
Now if only apple made itunes run as a service I be double happy.

With the Xserve getting canned, it's likely that Apple will shift Lion server hard towards SOHO needs and further away from the needs of larger enterprise environments.

Just bought an iPad 1. Glad it's still ranking up there near the top. It's a solid device. I have an Android phone, too, which serves it's purpose. Will use it as a personal hotspot for the iPad.

You're right that this state does have one of the highest deficits and tax rates for high incomes. However, if you look at the figures, despite the tax rate, Californians still earn more per capita on average than Texans. If you're looking to save money, it doesn't necessarily make sense to move.
Without going into the chicken/egg of it, Californians have to earn more since their housing costs are roughly 2/3 higher than Texas (per bankrate.com's cost of living comparison calculator as of this morning).
We earn less, but pretty much everything also costs less here.

Aren't there a half dozen or so other websites that sell/do the exact same thing as this kid? As well as likely hundreds of eBay sellers?
So, what I missing here? Why all the scrutiny for this kid?
Plus, his website clearly says they're non-OEM parts. So I really don't get all the negative hooplah here.

And Microsoft Windows Server ? really ? Is it successful because I have to install 30 of those to run a simple SSO db like AD whereas I can run eDirectory off of 3 Sun boxes and achieve the same results with about 100 times more objects in the directory ?
God, haven't used eDirectory in ages, especially so since Novell has been a bit volatile. Been using a Mixture of FreeIPA/Zimbra OSE/Zimbra Collaboration the last couple of years, much faster and cheaper than a Microsoft stack.
So yes, Microsoft server is so successful because its just the best. :rolleyes:
They have literally held the industry back all through the 90s and early 00s, something we're just now breaking free of. Just for that, I would never lend them my expertise no matter the offer. It is an ethical and moral choice, not one based on some crazy love for one brand of products.
Don't forget the the near-brainwashing of Techs and Admins, keeping most businesses and service providers out of plain ignorance.

someone explain this to me.....wouldn't activating push notifications absolutely KILL my iPhone 3GS battery life?? I've never been able to figure out if push notifications are bad to turn on cause they drain battery life?

No, PN is when the Apple Push Notification server tells your phone you have a notification. The apps do not need to be running. Its suppose to save you battery life by not having multiple apps open all the time.
