Grrrrr, I can't decide. Looks like I'll probably get the 32GB.. 399 + $45 taxes. Anyone think $444 worth it for the older 32 or do better deals exist? I'm somewhat convinced since it is new.
I'm debating 16 or 32. It's for the wife to take to the gym with her.

Pages and Number are TRASH compared to Word and Excel(especially excel)

Ill explain what the link implied. The sarcastic joke that you posted is simply trite beyond belief, and as such I thought Id use similar methods of sarcasm to convey my thoughts on the matter. Now, the crux of my joke relies on the play of opposites (as your comment was anything but original) and meant to be informative. Huh, my push notifications weren't working, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I went to the settings and I'm apparently running Facebook 3.1.1, but when I go to iTunes, it says the app is at 3.1 and I have no updates.
Odd. But maybe they've fixed the sound issues already.
I've noticed the same. I deleted FB from both iPhone and iTunes, then downloaded it thru iTunes since it states there that it is v3.1, but once on the iPhone it is still v3.1.1 and still, no notifications.
This really isn't worth losing sleep over, but it's really pissing me off.

I would love to see Apple open up with an entire line of IOS devices. They keep comparing the iPhone with Android despite there being numerous devices from different manufacturers. Having an exclusive product that only a few could was ok when there was no competition. Now, with there being so many cool phones like the EVo and othere, Apple needs ot step the game up.
Offer a Evo sized HD iPhone. The Evo screen even though it is inferior in resolution is nice. Using the map program on it is rnjoyaboe and you do not have to zoom like you do on the iPhone.
Have a iphone Nano that is $100 with a smaller screen if it is possible to still run the apps etc.
Sell the thing on all carriers and give Android a run for its money. i think if a Verizon or Sprint customer had a choice between an iPhone and a Galaxy, they would choose an iPhone.

I preordered mine on Friday online and had yet to receive the key this morning, even though they say it�ll take up to one business day to send (it�s been closer to a week). So I just went into a store, told them I hadn�t gotten my key, and they printed a receipt with a key on it. Downloading as I write this. :)Thanks for the insight. I like the iPhone 4 form factor. I am tempted to get one. But with early controversy about the antenna problems and the prone problems of delicate glass, I would not mind a new form factor that could help improve future iPhones.

For years WalMart has moved into many small towns, and undercut everyones prices repeatedly, driving all the Mom & Pop stores out of business. As long as they were hurting someone elses bottom line, they seemed to think that this was competition and very much acceptable.
Now that Apple wants a piece of the pie, its suddenly unfair. Sorry WalMart, either get in the game or find something new that works for you. No sympathy from me. :(

This would be pretty cool idea. When you arrive at the Zoo, Museum, etc you connect to their wi-fi network. Then at each exhibit they have the RFID thing in place and you just put your phone up to the RFID reader and your phone loads a quick video on the Tiger, Lions, etc.
Just a thought.
Edit: I think the RFID devices have to be basically be touching to actually do anything, I don't think walking through turn style would pick it up. I guess this level of sensitivity is adjustable, but my AMEX card has to actually touch and remain on the reader for few seconds to actually read the card.

i downloaded 10.4.8 and it wouldnt boot! i got a dark grey screen instead of the blue appple screen. Then i did it again but reset pram. then it just sat at the apple screen loading for a few minutes, so i restarted. Same thing, but it reset by itself, o then the 3rd time i let it stay and it worked. i hope it ends up being ok. I only downloaded it because i was hoping for apertre 1.5, but of course its nto out yet
