yikes - I want my video iPod now, not in 2007!
I wish the new set top box, iPhone, and widescreen video iPod would be out by November. Holiday shopping would be so easy!!

They could also be having problems with fit because a white iPhone is taller or wider than the black one. Has anyone measured the other dimensions?

I suspect the next iPhone, released in June, July, or September will be largely unchanged from the 4. An A5, sure. Maybe higher storage capacities. A "world" model, from what the Verizon exec said. Black or white. That's about it.
So what do you think it should have?
Will only a redesign make it a real new phone? I think its great that Apple has had three good designs now. Some build up is necessary, otherwise the public will only look for redesigns and nothing else.
It will be a new phone with updated specs and maybe the casing. That's all it needs.

I loved the game, but hated the ol' built to take your money mentality of some of the boss battles.
Like The Simpsons game before it.

So can I put one of these new SDXC cards in the back and use that as my boot drive while maintaining the internal HD for data storage?
Would that be better than an SSD?

I set my NAS boxes up with a static IP address, then mount them automatically (using login items) and they've never had a problem connecting....sounds like your NAS's IP adress might have changed (using DHCP means they won't necessarily get the same IP address every time) from when you set up the login item to the next time you tried to mount it.

...I can't think of one person I've talked to who found the ads to be completely positive. The people I know who like Macs were all a bit uncomfortable like me, being stereotyped as smug and elitist.
If someone calls me smug or elitist because of these commercials I'll be forced to hurt them....Or at least sack their house with siege machines.
Apple Ads = Chiat Day/Apple Executives
Me != Chiat Day/Apple Executives
Therefore, Apple Ads != Me. I don't know why people cannot grasp this simple idea.

no you don't, exchange 2003 and later supports push email like blackberries and no need for pop/imap. and it's probably more supported than using zimbra on the iphone.
Are you doing this on purpose ? You have failed to address all the points I've brought up, including the fact that Push based e-mail is not a Exchange only feature.
Look, if you want to debate this, at least give us a good-faith performance. None of this bad-faith arguing that just's going to go on and on for pages, where you ignore most points and just re-hash and imply your older debunked points.
it's relative cost. almost everyone uses exchange. if zimbra wants the market they need to price themselves very low or offer killer features MS doesn't. how do you even back up zimbra since exchange has agents available from every major backup application allowing you to do online backups
Zimbra was simply an example. And yes, it does support the same Full/Incremental backups that Exchange does. In fact, Exchange doesn't even support anything but full EDB backups out of the box, the per-mailbox backups/restores the many different 3rd party solution offers are based around hacks.
Microsoft doesn't officially support mailbox-level backups/restores (I'll admit my knowledge stops at around Exchange 2003 thank god), without first restoring the whole storage group to a "recovery" storage group/server and then using Exmerge.exe all things to restore to the production storage group :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823176
Thank god Veritas/HP/CA created those agents...
I think I'll move you to ignore now. It's quite apparent to me that you're simply going to try to shove Microsoft stuff down our throats without even knowing about the competition (as is obvious by your constant bashing of Zimbra based on assumptions which have proven false, simply because it was brought up as an example of one of dozens of collaboration suites out there).

Better check the latest Delta ruling -- no use of an iPod on board at any time.
Hard to believe, but that is the statement in their magazine and they are having the flight attendents enforce it.:(
Can you provide more information about that? There's nothing on Delta's Website that references that, including the latest security bulletins. There is the link to their press release about increased iPod integration, dated November 2006: press release here (http://news.delta.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=10453). Nor are there any iPod-related security suggestions on the TSA's website (which would be the *only* reason Delta or any airline would try to mess with personal music player usage).
I do know you are not supposed to be using any electronic device (which would include the iPod) at take-off or landing, but having a few frequent flier tickets behind me (all earned with the help of my iPod), I just find this very strange.

If you drive for work, there is a good chance you drive in the same areas, I can't see this app not caching maps.
Why would you need GPS for a route you take daily? Traffic, I suppose...but still?

I thought it was revolutionary - the idea that you always start with a template and never with a blank document. I thought - wow, all these years and Microsoft didn't come up with this?Actually, for the past several years Office has offered the option upon opening to load a document or pick on of several templates. Office even organizes them by type: Professional memo, sales order, etc. So, nothing new there. Move along.
Can't stand Pages. I'm a writer and it (Pages) is totally unsuitable. Clearly a wannabe DTP program, ala Publisher. I'm sure Pages is great for doing a church newsletter. For any moderately-serious writing, Pages is unacceptable.
I'm very impressed with Office for the Mac. W/ student pricing, that bundle is a steal. Mature and powerful apps. (And, strangely, the Mac version is better than the Windows version.)

Why Hong Kong? I live in The Netherlands and got a 120Mbit/s download.
If the server is willing, I can download at 14MByte/s max.

Android vs. iOS vs. WP7 vs. WebOS...
It's so sad how the "OS Wars" has stooped to this level. I mean, what the heck, your DVD player and TiVo has an "OS" too! These are PHONES! Although they run "Apps", they don't run "Applications" where you do some real work with. No one sits as a desk to balance the daily sales on an iPhone or hash out some history assignment on a Droid. Just because they have a "CPU" in them, it doesn't make them a "computer" in the Mac/PC sense.
And for those who think..."Well. not now, but because of miniturization, blah blah, they are getting there and soon everyone will be working out of their pockets..." BALONEY! Do you think that the computer industry (and the rest of the industries that use computers) will settle for "a pocket computer reminiscent of the last decade for every employee"? When your iPhone can run the equivalent of MS Office the "computer" will run MS Office 2020! When you can do Adobe Photoshop on your Android, Adobe Holoshop will be what's required to stay in business!

I have an old 2006 MBP 17" 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB RAM. Game runs slow on the "recommended settings" which puts the majority of the settings on Low. Tried bumping up the resolution which caused the game to crash when the match began.
I'm not happy with the performance of the game on my Mac however it handles the game better than my 2008 Dell Precision laptop running XP. Time to upgrade my MBP.

The problem is, is that your government is saying things, then going back on it. Nothing is making much sense.
Exactly what have they said that they've taken back?
