Please help....I am in a little bit precarious situation here...
I am frustrated working for Company A and I have a job offer from Company B..
My question is if
1: my I140 is approved from company A and
2: have H1b extended for 3 years for company A
3: get the H1b transferred over to Company B and then
leave the Company A and join Company B
Now Company A revokes I140
Will by H1B with Company B still valid?

Just ask your parents to talk to a lawyer in India. Obtain two separate notarized affidavits from each parent. Hope you have the format. Give it your lawyer and tell him/her that they are the sworn affidavits. Be sure to mention in the affidavits that since there was no requirement of a birth certificate 'for my son/daughter' we never obtained one from the authorities earlier. Hence the new extract just for the purpose of filing immigration petition.
I think your lawyer is just complicating the situation - ?inexperience / jitteriness? When I had to get my BC I had to make my dad travel places on 12 hour trips. It is sad that we have make them run around in their old age. Plus the USCIS is stupid not to accept the date of birth as in the passport. Life is not easy when there are whole lot of dumba&&es around us. Just my opinion.

If senior citizens have to travel frequently from India to the Bay area (California) what is the most preferred airlines?
Points of comparisons would be pricing (frequent flyer discounts), leg room, optimum layover, wheelchair facility, good in-flight attendance, food and so on...the experience with the emirates has been ok thus far.
emirates didn't provide the wheel chair at the airport although it was made available in india and sfo. also the leg from dubai to sfo is very long.
please share your experiences and provide your feedback.
Try Singapore Airlines. You cannot escape a 12 to 16 hour second leg if you fly over the Pacific, but Singapore service is quite good. Cathay has been decent as well.

This really helped me. I just did that and find out that I have so many addresses there. As I said initially because of my job status I moved a lot within US..
But I am still confused.
For India I am clear. For the period when I was in India, I will put Indian address
But while I was in US, what addresses should I put in g-325a form - The places where I actually lived or as the addresses I put in my US tax returns ?
I have no problem in providing all US addresses, but that contradicts with my addresses in US Tax returns.
If USCIS will do background check, are they more concerned about
(a) That addresses in my tax return should match with my residence addresses in g-325a form ?
OR
(c) They are more inclined towards that addresses should match with the actual addresses where I lived ?
from annualcreditreport.com (this is a site from the 3 credit agencies), you can see all the addresses that your credit card bills went to. So there is a record of where you actually lived in the last 3-5 years.
By the way, by law you are entitled to a free credit report annually. You can get it from the afore mentioned site.

When I asked him what he meant, he said, "Your case has been approved and we sent you the approval letter."
Oh well. I have no option but to wait and see what they sent me.

you can also put links on an image in dreamweaver with image maps.
it's very easy. Just bring the image (or images if you have cut it up) into dreamweaver. Click on the image and in your Properties Pannel you will notice a bunch of options for drawing. Choose the square or the circle or whatever shape you want to make and just draw ontop of your image. This will be an active Hyperlink and will not ad and colours or outlines to your pic.

I am not sure how you are seeing 14000 EB3 visa in totals. If you look at the table that says India, there are approx 8000 visas or so around Dec 02 for India alone. In addition, I believe the country quota is 7% and not 10% but I could be mistaken on that.

Immigration to Canada is the most obvious option in case you want to stay within North America. Being Canadian permanent resident / citizen allows you to run business in the States under certain rules.
Another option is Australia but it is a bit far away and in fact the country is not very much populated - less than 20 mln people. I.e. business is not booming.
Dubai is an excellent option for making money, or at least that was the case 10-15 years ago. Its economy is still booming.

I had similar situation in labor process. The new company attorney mentioned me to do an amendment for labor processing, however I was reluctant and did not continue with it. An year later on pending labor, I received RFE: something like unable to find company. Attorney then sent the company acquisition details. Months later labor got approved.

EAD is only required if you want to work and you don't have any other document which will allow you to work (e.g. a valid un-expired H1)

You know, at least until the I-140 gets approved, I don't need the EAD card. Can I just let it expire and renew it when I need it? Or will it be a separate application when I try to renew an expired EAD.

i would say apply for the Eb2. I am on Eb3 right now and i will plan to apply for eb2 after Dec 2008.
I have 3 years degree (15 year education). I am not sure if I can file on EB2.
You have filed on EB3 & planning to file on EB2; could you please share the logic for this & why are you waiting end of 2008, please share the reason, so if needed I can also plan something like you.
