Regarding touch buttons, my post above. Regarding pressing the wrong side in the dark, although I have done that a couple of times in the past, I think they make the button concave so you can feel where it is without looking. I (personally) think that a glow in the dark button would look tacky, especially because they glow in that eery green colour. :(
When you are watching a YouTube video, I tend to forget where the home button is. Or when surfing the web for some time while in the dark.
And I don't literally mean glow in the dark like those cheap Halloween things, I'm talking about an actual light behind the capacitive square symbol which has a sensor which turns on when there is a certain level of darkness.
I can easily envisage this happening . It would look fantastic.

Has apple ever officially responded to any false marketing claims they may have accidentally stated? For example - them stating their macbook pro battery life lasts X amount of time, however it really lasts X -3 hours.. and they've responded in an official capacity?
Battery life isn't really anything you can debate, as it largely depends on use, brightness and so many other variables. That's why Apple says "up to x hours".

Hopefully it's more due to people switching over from windows rather than old mac owners buying new macs. Obviously, a person who owns a mac now is going to buy another one eventually. The swtichers are going to help apple in the long run.

Its about elegance and love. We dont just use our Macs they become friends and part of the family. We dont just look at them as computers but extensions of ourselves. No system is perfect but for us this is as close as we can get to perfection. So many of the things you said you can do on your Windows machine I dont doubt I just know we can do it easier and usually were able to do it well before you could. You mistake pride for bigotry. Yes I will admit that you can play more games than I can but thats what the PS2. gamecube and X box are for. About price, I agree the sticker shock is that the Mac is more expensive but when you look at what you get with it. especially in the video editing realm you start to realize that the windows side doesnt have anything anything to compare with it. Not without having to pay at least a few hundred dollars for. Sure you built your own machine but wheres the tech support or the warranty. Any of those parts go bad and you'll be replacing them yourself. Theres more cost built in to building than many people choose to admit. Fact is we all live in a world that runs on Windows machines. Office's are full of beige boxes that sometimes manage to get through a day of email and excel. What you may not think about is that while the penny pushers may move the money from place to place on a windows machine the marketing side usually gets the products sold on a Mac. Advertising firms and creative agencies that market the worlds products do it on a much more stable environment. So dont think of it as bigotry but instead a sense of pride that... well I saw a T-shirt on a guy in the Apple store on Friday night that said it best. "Its a Mac thing, you wouldnt understand"

No way in hell. They've already asked their developers to change app resolutions once. 3 screen sizes will never fly with developers.

This is absolutely pointless and I'm sick of hearing about it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Sony who started the campaign. Think about it. If you didn't like the X Factor song, you wouldn't buy it. But now there is this silly campaign to buy the RATM song for all the people who hate the X Factor song. Sony wins in either case.

Just to clarify...do I need to reinstall XP now after the EFI update or should the speed be correct now?
I have a feeling a reinstall is necessary ...
You should not have to reinstall XP - it should be enough to update the XP driver package with Apple's latest drivers from the dual boot package.
The only way that you'd need to reinstall would be if Apple made some huge changes in the way the devices configure - so huge that XP is unable to boot using the existing drivers.
(That's unlikely, but since dual boot is beta software, Apple may have realized that they'd made a huge mistake, and only an incompatible fix was reasonable.)

Trump is very rich but the scale of his wealth is insignificant compared to the expenses of the U.S. government. It's not as if he can reach into his pocket and pull out trillions of dollars and pay off the debt.
Sadly, I think he does have a small chance of getting elected. He is a celebrity and Americans assign virtue and competence to celebrity for some sick reason.

I am biased... I like every app Apple does... Or almost all of them...

- Interface: nothing close to Apple's soundtrack
- Features: nothing close to Apple's Soundtrack
Will wait for the next betas and test again but first impression is thumbs down... I think this has been made for AE users who want to have a sound utility or to keep the people who built Sound Edit 16 busy (ex Macromedia).... A lot of work to do to get to Soundtrack features and feel... And by the time it will be donen Soundtrack will get more and more muscle...

Where have you installed OpenCV and wxWidgets? Are they frameworks or dylib libraries? Have you added the framework or dylib to the Link Binary with Libraries build phase of your target? If they're dylibs, have you additionally added the path(s) to the header files to the Header Search Paths build setting of your target?
The OpenCV is a framework, the wxWidgets is not a framework, atleast I guess it is a dylib (if there is no other options for libraries then framework and dylib).
I have tried adding OpenCV to the "Link Binary with Libraries" but I could not find the wxWidgets in there. and cv.h, is still an issue, meaning it doesn't seem to understand OpenCV framework.
